THE TOURNAMENT
Launched in 2019, the Limpopo Championship hosted by Limpopo Tourism Agency is well entrenched as one of South Africa’s most sought after golf tournaments for golf enthusiasts to witness international competition in the African Wild.
The Sunshine Tour sanctioned event, attracts elite professional golfers competing for the prestigious title. JC Richie successfully won the title back-to-back in 2019 and 2020. In 2021 Brandon Stone claimed the trophy and 2022 witnessed the first international, Mateusz Gradecki.
The 5th edition was special, Ryan van Velzen won his inaugural professional tournament in Euphoria Golf and Lifestyle Estate. Limpopo Championship winners have gone to perform at the highest level on the international stage.
